Q.What number do I call if I need assistance with my Cash Back application?

Q.If I do not receive my cash back within 30 days, whom do I contact?

A.If you do not receive your cash back within 30 days, please click on this link www.submissionstatus.com You can type in an email message for our Customer service team. Submissionstatus.com is available in the following languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Polish. You will receive a response within 48 hours. To enter submissionstatus.com you will need your email address as entered in your Cash Back application form and your Online Reference number.

Q.Where can I find my Online Reference number?

A.Your Online Reference number will appear on your application form when you press the “Register and Print” button at the bottom of the application page. Please keep your Online Reference number safe; you will need to quote this number when checking the status of your Cash Back.

Make a photocopy of your application form including barcode and receipt. Keep this for your personnel use.

Q.Where can I find my serial number on my product?

A.Click on the product to find your serial number.

Q.What is my IBAN and where do I get it?

A.Your IBAN is your International Bank Account Number. Your IBAN along with your Swift code allows us to quickly identify your bank account to quickly transfer the cash back to your account.

Q.How long do I have to wait until I receive my Cash Back?

Q.What barcodes do I need to supply to Canon?

A.1. If you have purchased a Promotional Photo Kit – Please supply the barcode from the Outer box and the barcode from the lens and/or accessory box.

2. If you have purchased an EOS 400D, 40D, 5D or one of the 14 Lenses and accessories please supply the barcode found on the outside of the box.

3. If you have purchased an EOS 5D IS Double Zoom Kit the barcode is required from the Outer box and EOS 5D product box.

4. If you have purchased an EOS 40D IS Double Zoom Kit the barcode is required from the Outer box and EOS 40D product box.

5. If you have purchased an EOS 40D Body + EF-S 10-22mm + EF-S 17-85mm lens kit the barcode is required from the Outer box and EOS 40D product box.

Q.How do I apply for my cash back?

A.1. Purchase any of the selected products within the Canon Cash Back Promotion between 01.03.2008 and 30.06.2008.
2. Make a photocopy of your receipt or cash register receipt.
3. Cut out the original barcode that you will find on the product boxes. For further information on where to find your bar codes, please click here.
4. Fill in the application form, you can find it by pressing "Next" here.
5. Print the form off and then send it together with the copy of the receipt and the original barcode to Promoter:

6. Canon will reimburse you the stated amount either by cheque or directly to your bank account.

Q.Which countries should I purchase the product in to be valid for this promotion?

To be able to claim the cash back, the products must be purchased in one of these countries and you must be a consumer resident in an EEA country (i.e. the EU, Andorra, Channel Islands, Iceland, Norway, San Marino and Liechtenstein) or Switzerland.

Q.What are the valid dates for the promotion?

A.The promotion period is 01/03/2008 to 30/06/2008. To qualify for this promotion, the products listed must be purchased during this period and the application sent off on or before 15/08/2008, (for Spain always 3 months after expiry date, i.e. 30/09/2008).

Q.I purchased my product from Ebay, can I participate in the Cash Back Promotion?

A.The Cash Back is only valid where the promotional products have been originally sold by Canon or an authorized Canon dealer in the European Economic Area (“EEA”, i.e. the EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) or Switzerland.

Q.My product no longer works. As I have cut the barcodes from the product box, my dealer will not give me a refund, what can I do?
